In the Flooded Forest, fish such as arowana, tortoise, etc. are exhibited in different tanks. One interesting part of this is when a enormous tortoise is being fed by the workers. The first and second photos actually shows when the giant tortoise is still hiding underwater. The photos after that shows when it is being fed. After that, you will reach another part of this aquarium where you will find an underwater tunnel with a 90 meter moving walkway. More than 3000 aquatic creatures of various sizes and shapes live in this simulated habitat and a hidden shipwreck colonized by inquisitive reef inhabitants. (Brief intro. for the tunnel copied from Aquaria site.) Based on our own experience, we can see sea creatures like stingray, sharks, turtles, eels, some giant fish, etc.

During our visit in the tunnel, there was a performance where divers feed the animals within the tunnel. The performance was quite fascinating because when the divers came, all the sea creatures swam towards the divers causing a huge crowd of animals at one spot. At the Aqua Theatre where people can watch the performance in a wider and clearer view. The biggest stingray in the tunnel which came from Taiwan sticked to the divers when the divers gave them their favourite foods. Some giant turtles also followed them as they were distributing the foods. A huge crowd of people also gathered in front of the theatre as the performance was going on. Some of them sat in front of the theatre whereas the others stood while watching the performance. Moreover, many of the spectators also took pictures using their cameras and handphones. There were also two interpreters giving brief description of the aquatic animals being fed in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

It was definitely a great show from the professional divers in Aquaria. We then proceed to the 'Weird and Wonderful' area. This area exhibits both weird and wonderful sea creatures of different sizes and shapes. One of them is the blubber jelly. We have one of the description photo of this animal below. Besides, we have also shot a photo where you can see a clownfish and a regal blue tang which is alike to what you can see in the movie - 'Finding Nemo'.

It is almost the end of the journey in the Aquaria when we reached this section. Before we reached the souvenir shop which leads to the exit, we took this photo in front of the escalator of the souvenir shop.

It's the end of our journey when we reached the souvenir shop. The souvenir shop sells various types of accessories such as T-shirts, keychains, etc. which to buy for anyone. If you like to visit Aquaria KLCC too, try visit Malaysia if you are not a Malaysian, or just come to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia and visit KLCC - Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre where Aquaria is locate. The country's tallest twin tower - Petronas Twin Tower and Suria KLCC - a six - level shopping mall near Petronas Twin Tower are just a step's away from Aquaria KLCC. A Fishy Day

A "fishy" day on this Saturday as we visit to Aquaria KLCC (located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). Aquaria KLCC is a underground park cum aquarium featuring more than 5000 aquatic and marine animal exhibits of over 150 different species from Malaysia and around the world. It has two floors covering up an total area over 5,500 sq. feet which make it one of the largest aquarium in the world. Aquaria also has 19 tanks with various environment to keep and display fish and other aquatic animals from different part of the world. OK, that's a brief intro. for Aquaria KLCC. Now, we return back to the original story. In Aquaria, it is separated into 6 different parts which are The Highland, Jewels of the Jungle, Flooded Forest, The Coast, The Living Reef and The Living Ocean. First, when you enter Aquaria at its main entrance, you will be ask to have your photo taken. (Note : You can buy your photo later in the souvenir shop if you like the photo.) Then, the most important thing to do is to buy your ticket at the ticketing counter, but we have already bought our tickets at the Matta Fair before that. (Don't ask what's Matta Fair.) After you bought your tickets and you entered the "gate", you can see some small tanks in front of you. In these tanks, you can have the chance to touch a series of aquatic animals, i.e. hermit crabs, starfish, etc. Below is an example of what you can see:

After that, you will see a big tank containing different species of tortoises. These tortoise can be found in the rivers in Malaysia. We have some of the photos but it may not be very clear due to shaking when shooting these photos. (Sorry!)

Later, you may also see a tanks containing different species of turtle from baby turtles to adult turtles. From leatherback turtles to green turtles, every different tank contains different species of turtles.

Before the turtles and tortoises, you may also see some other venomous aquatic creatures such as lionfish and foxface. The photos are as below :

Then, you will enter another section which will be showing land animals and insects. Animals such as alligator, snake, lizard, frog, etc. and insects such as tarantula, scorpion,etc. are shown in this section. One of the interesting part of this section is that it has a giant frog of a size of almost a football which we think that it's the largest frog in the world. We are very sorry that we have none of these photos available, but we hope that you can experience yourself there too.

The next part in our visit is the Flooded Forest. Flooded Forest contains aquatic animals mainly from tropical areas such as Amazon River where most of the animals are large in size.The photo below shows a picture of what we said just know.
